Mil-Tec Shashka Russian Cossack Sabre with Bayonet Reproduction

Under the banner of Imperial Russia, elite Cossack warriors served as cavalry units, shock troops, border patrol, and finally police enforcers tasked with repressing uprisings among the increasingly dissatisfied peasant class. After the Revolution the Soviet Red Army saw these same horsemen absorbed into its ranks, outfitted with both the traditional "shashka" sabre and more-modern Mosin-Nagant rifle. This Mil-TecA® Shashka Reproduction is of a typical 1934 Sabre, manufactured in the Soviet-era 1927 pattern. Antiqued brass hilt carries the Cyrillic letters C.C.C.P. (U.S.S.R. in Latin script). Scabbard carries both the Sabre and the included Mosin-Nagant Bayonet.
